Current Build a Base RNG guides consistently describe an Index that records discoveries and offers claimable progression value; some also report Luck benefits. The exact entry count, rewards, variant rules, and completion bonuses are not published by an official public source, so read the live Index and record only what your account displays.
The Index is most useful when it guides missing roles without dismantling a working base.
Claim visible completed entries
Open the Index after a roll session and identify entries marked discovered, new, complete, or claimable. Capture the item name, family, visible rarity or odds, and reward text before claiming. Record whether the benefit applies automatically or through a button.
Do not copy a reward amount from another account or an old guide. Claim the visible value, then check coins, Luck, inventory, or the relevant panel to confirm where it went.
Organize by item family
Separate blocks, traps, and weapons. Currently documented names include Wood Block, Stone Block, Rusty Block, Wooden Trap, Wooden Spikes, Cross Bow, Basic Cannon, Wooden and Stone Mortar, Catapult, and Wooden Tesla. Their complete Index status and odds still need a live check.
Use the Item Index to store sourced names and unknown fields. An item should not gain a fabricated stat merely because its Index slot exists.
Target missing entries without weakening the base
Keep one complete working set before rolling for collection. A missing common entry can justify a short roll target, but do not sell the only barrier, trap, or damage role that reaches your baseline wave.
Use Auto Roll only after reading its current controls and protecting keep items. Stop when inventory pressure, coin reserve, or the active upgrade target becomes more important than another discovery.
Claim route
Review new markers, capture reward wording, claim once, and verify the destination.
Missing-role route
Prioritize an undiscovered family that also fills front, group, boss, or cleanup needs.
Completion route
Chase low-priority entries only after the base and reserve are stable.
Handle variants and event entries
Do not assume shiny, mutation, golden, or event versions share an entry with the base item. Record whether the live Index displays a separate slot, odds, reward, or upgrade relationship. If it does not, mark the relationship unknown.
The official Tsunami description confirms new weapons. Add an event weapon only after its in-game name and Index state are visible. Keep event availability dated so a temporary entry is not presented as a permanent roll.
Use Index progress in upgrade decisions
Claimed coins or Luck can change the next purchase, but keep the systems separate. First claim and record the Index benefit. Then rerun the same wave or roll sample before buying another Skill. This shows whether the account changed before several upgrades hide the effect.
If the Index suggests a missing item that does not solve the current failure, keep it as a collection target rather than the immediate progression target. Base stability comes first.
Index mistakes and FAQ
- Leaving visible completed rewards unclaimed before spending.
- Selling the only working role for an entry.
- Treating a variant as a separate or shared entry without checking.
- Assuming every Index reward is coins or Luck.
- Calling the documented item set complete without viewing the live Index.
What does the Index give?
Current guides report claimable rewards and possible Luck value. The exact reward for each entry must be read in-game.
Should I complete the Index early?
Claim easy discoveries, but preserve a working base and reserve. Deep completion is safer after progression is stable.
Does Auto Roll help the Index?
It can increase discovery attempts according to current guides, but confirm live controls and protect keep items.
Are Tsunami weapons in the Index?
The official description confirms new weapons, not their Index treatment. Verify the live event and collection panels.
