Build a Base RNG uses random rolls to supply objects, but a published odds table is only trustworthy when it matches the current in-game display. Several current guides print exact “1 in N” values, Luck effects, shiny or mutation claims, and upgrade costs; the audit found enough disagreement and template repetition that those numbers are not frozen here.
Use this page to interpret the live panel. Record the displayed base odds, active Luck sources, roll animation, result name, and Index state separately. That keeps a modified result from being mistaken for an unmodified probability.
Read the number the game actually shows
If the roll or Index interface displays an item’s chance, capture the full panel with the item name and current version context. Note whether the number is labeled base odds, current odds, chance, rarity, or something else. Do not assume that “1 in 100” and “1%” are interchangeable after modifiers unless the game presents them that way.
Keep the result tied to the exact item or variant. Wood Block, Stone Block, Cross Bow, Basic Cannon, mortars, Catapult, and Wooden Tesla are currently documented names, but third-party odds for them are not treated as settled. A live Index screenshot can promote one field without validating the entire copied table.
Separate Luck from base odds
Current guides consistently describe Luck as improving future rolls and mention Skill, Index, friend, or shop-related sources. The existence and exact names of those sources must be checked in the live Skills and Index panels. More importantly, do not assume the formula is linear.
A Luck multiplier may change effective odds, unlock a roll state, or interact with another system. Record the base display, active modifier wording, and resulting display before calculating anything. If the interface does not expose an effective chance, label the formula unknown rather than deriving it from a handful of pulls.
The Rolling & Luck guide explains when to invest in acquisition versus the current base. Better odds do not fix an uncovered lane.
Build a clean roll record
- Join the official Slungpy Games experience and note the date and update theme.
- Open Skills, Index, boosts, and any friend or shop panel that visibly changes Luck.
- Record each active modifier exactly; do not rewrite labels into a guessed formula.
- Capture the item’s displayed odds before rolling when possible.
- Record the exact result name, family, variant, and animation wording.
- Keep at least several observations before describing a pattern, and never call a short sample the true drop rate.
This record can reveal whether a boost changes the displayed number or only the roll result distribution. It cannot prove the hidden random algorithm, independence, pity, or guarantee without first-party documentation.
Rarity does not replace role testing
A rarer roll may have stronger live stats, but the base still needs blocks, traps, and weapons in useful places. Keep a complete working set before replacing a common item. Test the candidate on the same wave, with the same surrounding layout, and preserve the old position.
Use the Item Tier List to compare coverage and uptime. Use Blocks, Traps, and Weapons to identify the role. The rarity badge explains acquisition context; it does not tell you where the item belongs.
Variants, shiny states, and event rolls
Current community pages use terms such as shiny, mutation, golden, or special roll animation, but the official public description does not define them. Treat every variant as Needs in-game testing until the live item panel shows the relationship to the base object.
Record whether the variant occupies a separate Index entry, shares upgrades, changes visible stats, has a separate chance, or is event-limited. Do not multiply a base item’s third-party chance by another rumored number. The same caution applies to Tsunami weapons: the event is official, while individual names and odds require current screens.
Odds mistakes and FAQ
- Copying a table without its check date or current update.
- Treating one rare pull as evidence that a boost guarantees it.
- Combining base odds and active Luck without knowing the formula.
- Assuming rolls are independent or have pity when the interface does not say so.
- Selling useful common roles while chasing one low-probability item.
What are the exact Build a Base RNG odds?
Use the current roll or Index display. No complete authoritative table was verified for this source handoff.
Does Luck multiply every chance directly?
That formula was not confirmed. Read the live modifier wording and effective display, if any.
Is Wooden Tesla the rarest item?
One detailed guide makes that claim with an exact value, but the live complete Index was not verified. It remains a community-reported candidate, not an official maximum.
Should I buy Luck upgrades first?
Only after your current items form a usable base. If enemies pass uncovered space, layout gives a more direct improvement; if the base is stable, Luck can improve future options.
